JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key responsibilities will include:

Plan, implement, control and monitor approved changes
Business intelligence and trend analysis
Functional process optimisation
Implement operations effectiveness model and practice
Promote statutory compliance
Provide input into functional planning
Provide strategic functional direction
Micro- and macro- economic awareness
Mining engineering operational planning
Manage mining asset performance
Surpac database operations
Comply with IMS standards
Implement cost control systems
Internal and external stakeholder relationships
Provide specialist support
Team development and recommend training needs and mentor Subordinates
Participate in functional workforce planning

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
2 years Supervisory / Management experience
6 years Mine Engineering experience
GCC Mine Manager Certificate
Legal Requirements: Regulation 2.6.1.
Professional Status: ECSA (Advantageous)
Valid code B driving license
