SUMMARY:
Job Purpose: 
Ikwezi Mining invites applications for a 2-year Mining Engineering internship at our Newcastle operations. The successful candidate will assist in the design, planning as well as the drill and blasting operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the mine planning, design and scheduling.
• Participate in safety and risk management.
• Assist with rock mechanics and geotechnical analysis.
• Assist in daily underground and surface surveying activities

• Degree/ Diploma in Mining Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Mining principles regulations
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
