Mobile Software Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the IT Service Management industry, has an opportunity available for a Mobile Software Engineer to be based in the Umhlanga area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Native Android App development.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong Java for Android and / or Kotlin skills and comfortable working with Android Studio
• Experience in best practices for app design / architecture within Android context
• Integration with 3rd party SDK''s and API''s
• Experience with Restful Web Services using JSON or XML
• Published and managed Apps on Store
• Understand design and layouts for both App and Tablet
• The following be advantageous:
  • Experience with software development for iOS (Swift)
  • Comfortable working with Git
  • Comfortable with Gradle
  • Successfully completed the Android Nano Degree
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment

• Build new functionality, flows and integrations on the existing app
• Develop, test and debug code for existing functionality
• Extend, improve, and maintain the iKhokha SDK
• Write and maintain documentation for our SDK
