Employer Description Logistics and Freight Forwarding Company Job Description Freight company is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the company's full HR function. This role will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, ensuring that the people strategy supports the company's operational goals, growth plans, and long-term sustainability. Duties: Aligning human capital with business objectives through effective workforce planning Organisational development Talent management Employee relations, and compliance Build a high-performance culture Strengthen employee engagement HR practices support and full HR function Payroll Recruitment Performance management Succession planning Leadership development Employee benefits administration HR reporting Labour relations Legislative compliance Risk management Development of HR policies, frameworks, and governance structures. Qualifications Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or a related field Postgraduate qualification being advantageous Skills A minimum of 10 years' HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, is required. Strong strategic leadership capability Sound business acumen, and solid experience in managing HR within a demanding operational environment. Experience in logistics, freight, warehousing, transport, or supply chain essential. Registration with a recognised professional HR body such as SABPP will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, including the LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA, POPIA, UIF, and Compensation Fund requirements, and must be capable of applying this knowledge.
