POSITION INFO:
Employer Description Plastic Manufacturing Company Job Description Duties: Assist with Monthly Financial Requirements: • Account reconciliations - asset clearing & VAT • VAT audit prep and document submissions • Payroll preparation and SARS submissions including workmen's compensation • Balanced score card preparation • Monthly stock take • Preparation of month end production variances and analysis • Monthly expense claim checking and filing • OVS and OVR month end processing and reporting • Monthly invoicing and statement preparation • Collection of outstanding debtors • Capture of supplier documents in Sage accounting systems Assist with Annual Financial Requirements : • Fiscal Year End prep and document submissions Assist with Supply Chain Requirements : • Ensure supplier prices as cost effective as possible by doing annual pricing reviews & obtaining competitor pricing Assist with Compliance Requirements : • Creation of financial standard operating procedures • Scanning and electronic filing of documentation with accuracy • Manage digital filing system and ensure filing is uniform • BEE document preparation and information required • Leave and sick leave tracking • Become familiar with all the Rapid Software to assist team with ensuring tasks are completed as required • Any other duties that may be assigned to you Assist with Customer Costing Requirements: • Customer quote and costing preparation • Understanding bills of materials and loading such onto Syspro Qualifications BCom Accounting \/ CIMA Skills Must be proficient on Sage, Syspro and MS Office Must have 5 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment Strong Full function Bookkeeping experience High attention to detail Able to quickly bring to the attention of your supervisor any non-compliance Good team player (able to work effectively with colleagues) Neat, professional appearance Must participate in stock takes Ability to adhere to systems and procedure Own transport essential Salary\/Package R35K - R40K
