SUMMARY:
National Sales Manager required with extensive Bearing and ancillary equipment (transmission) market knowledge and Sales Management experience.

POSITION INFO:

To manage all sales aspects, processes and activities for the bearing and transmission division with the objective to maximise sales, customer service and product market development.

Manage customer accounts and organisational budgeted targets for sales and profitability.

Manage the sales and product team.

Manage the assets effectively to minimise risk and maximise profitability.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SYSPRO, MRP Management, Customer Account Management, Sales Management, Project Management.
  • At least 10 years Sales Management experience, 5 years Customer Liaison Management, 5 years General Management experience
  • Extensive Bearing and Transmission market knowledge

Key Responsibilities

  1. National Sales in relation to Bearing targets for all Branches
  2. Product training campaign
  3. Sustainable sales growth
  4. Identify new business opportunities
  5. Strategic management
  6. Business analysis in terms of sales and margins
  7. Marketing intelligence
  8. Research competitive products

Your main duties will include, but will not be restricted to: -

  1. Achieve monthly national sales targets
  2. Achieve monthly national profit targets
  3. Regain lost business and customers
  4. Reduce provision stock- branch and national
  5. Regular Branch and Branch Customer visits to develop and support bearing sales in the Branches
