National Risk Manager

POSITION INFO:

The purpose of this role is to proactively manage risk within the company . The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the risk of the business, identify, evaluate, monitor, develop, implement and improve controls within the business to mitigate and eliminate any potential risk within the business .

Must have requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Risk related role
• Matric
• Post matric qualification (Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Advanced Diploma in Risk Management) will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Risk related role.
• Extensive retail management experience an advantage.
• Demonstrated track record of building an international or local network of clients.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders at different levels.
• The ability to work collaboratively and influence direction across an organisation.
• Knowledge of operational risk methodologies, principles and internal controls, preferably within retail sector.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills to provide proactive and effective financial crime risk oversight and challenge
• Outstanding sense of customer experience, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, always upholding the values of the business.
