We have a National Sales Manager vacancy at one of our clients in a manufacturing environment, part of listed group. JHB Western suburbs R750k - R1m p.a.

We are looking for a dynamic and proven National Sales Manager who is ready to take the next step in order to achieve set sales goals, targets and revenue.

Area: Johannesburg

Package: R1 000 000 Per Annum plus Medical Aid and Provident Fund

Duties:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies

Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

Negotiate and close agreements with large customers

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department

Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs

Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency

Keep abreast of new product launches

They must visit farmers and the agricultural sector

Experience & Qualifications

A post graduate Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or closely related discipline from a recognised Tertiary Institution.

Essential: 5 – 7 years’ experience in Sales within a manufacturing environment.

At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity.

Computer literate (Microsoft office, Syspro).

A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends.

Demonstrate Problem-solving skills and negotiation skills

Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on its progress.

Previous working experience as a Sales Manager

Degree in Sales, Business Administration or similar relevant field

Hands on experience with CRM software

Applicable experience of sales performance metrics

Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Customer oriented with strong negotiation skills

Analytical and data driven problem solver
