SUMMARY:
A leading international Manufacturing Company specialising in rigid packaging requires the above to manage and drive all sales aspects for the Company developing and maintaining business relationships with senior Key Accounts.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience having worked in a Sales / Key Accounts Management role within the Rigids Packaging Industry is essential.
  • Previous experience having dealt with the likes of large automotive, food and beverage and related manufacturers is preferred, having built strong relationships with these Customers is preferred.
  • Previous experience in developing strategic and business plans is essential.
  • The successful candidate needs to have excellent organisational and leadership skills as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a sales team as well as senior Key Accounts within the industry.
  • Develop and drive the sales strategy in line with the overall Company strategy.
  • Implement strategies by monitoring sales targets, budgets, new business, Customers and call cycles.
  • Set, review and monitor annual sales and expense budgets.
  • Achieve and improve upon the annual agreed sales turnover as to achieve maximum profit (individual sales versus actual sales achieved).
  • Identify new markets and conversion opportunities.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a market intelligence system to ensure detailed knowledge of competitors and product trends.
  • Review potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities and recommending equity investments.
  • Build and maintain good working relationship with Customers to ensure understanding of their needs and business.
  • Provide price and product information to Customers and potential Customers.
  • Maintain stock levels in accordance with current and future market trends.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
