SUMMARY:
Be a part of the largest food chain market looking for National Transport Manager to be based in Pretoria. A suitable candidate must come from a transport and food chain industry to manage the movement of products within south African as well as overseeing the transportation of all products.

POSITION INFO:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Matric
Diploma/ Degree in Logistics management or Supply Chain is desired
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the FMCG or retail industry
Proficiency in Trackmatic is essential

Job description

Ensure vehicle compliance in line with legislations
Monitor and report on on-time performance
Monitor drivers and record the performance
Develop and manage drivers’ schedules
Implement procedures to prevent stock losses and security
Ensure optimization of resources
Responsible for all fleet management and utilization
Ensure effective training of all related procedures and expectations to drivers
