JOB SUMMARY:
One of the worldâs leading independently owned family offices, and the largest in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic, growing team. The successful candidate will be based in lovely Cape Town (Waterfront Offices).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:

The company provides a range of services from long-term strategic planning and investments to day-to-day advice and administration to over 250 families. The organisation employs over 500 people in 13 offices in 8 jurisdictions around the world. This position will report directly to the Head of Infrastructure. Other working relationships include all members of the IT team, all users’ worldwide and external suppliers.

Education:

Matric
Microsoft MCSA or MCSE certifications highly advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Experience with Citrix products is beneficial for the role
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, WSUS, Endpoint Manager and other patching tools
Good knowledge of software distribution and Group Policy Objects
Good knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and common enterprise ecosystem
Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, NTFS permissions and RBAC
Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop
Scripting abilities and interest for automation
Willingness to learn new technologies at a fast pace in a constantly evolving environment
Flexibility, well developed sense of organization and personal responsibility
General knowledge of Cyber Security, Networks, Firewalls and Linux and TCP/IP networking
