The Huawei Brand Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving iOCO's strategic partnership with Huawei across South Africa's enterprise market. This position leads the total Huawei business portfolio across government and private sectors.
As iOCO continues its successful transformation, this role is critical to establishing our enterprise network business with Huawei as a key strategic vendor. The successful candidate will leverage Huawei's position to capture market opportunities and grow iOCO market share.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Brand Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive Huawei brand strategy aligned with iOCO's transformation objectives
- Position Huawei solutions, and iOCO offerings, competitively against established players in networking, storage, and compute markets
- Drive thought leadership initiatives and market positioning activities
- Manage strategic relationship with Huawei South Africa leadership team
- Business Development Revenue Growth
- Own PL responsibility for total Huawei business portfolio
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for enterprise segments
- Lead major deal negotiations and strategic customer engagements
- Drive new customer acquisition and existing account expansion
- Partner Ecosystem Management
- Maintain and enhance iOCO's Huawei partner status within their structured framework
- Coordinate with Huawei's "Partner + Huawei" collaborative model
- Leverage partner benefits including sales rebates, marketing funds, and technical resources
- Participate in all key Huawei events
- Marketing Communications
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns targeting enterprise decision-makers
- Create compelling value propositions for iOCO's Huawei networking, storage, and compute solutions
- Manage marketing budget allocation and ROI optimisation
- Coordinate with iOCO's broader marketing initiatives and brand positioning
- Team Leadership Collaboration
- Provide strategic direction to Senior Solutions Architect, Senior Engineer roles and Sales
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across iOCO business units
- Mentor team members and drive professional development initiatives
- Establish clear accountability frameworks and performance standards
Your Expertise:
- Minimum 8-10 years in Huawei vendor management or enterprise solutions marketing
- Proven track record in B2B technology sales/marketing with revenue accountability (R50M+ annually)
- Experience managing strategic Huawei partnership
- Demonstrated success in South African Huawei enterprise market (government and private sectors)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent business qualification preferredÂ
