Our client in the Telco sector is looking for a professional Network Operations Engineer Azure & Cloud on a contract duration for 6 months.

POSITION INFO:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based networking environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the performance and reliability of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will play a critical role in managing network connectivity, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the security and scalability of our Azure-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain cloud and on-premise network infrastructure using modern tools and dashboards.
Manage and optimize Azure Virtual Networks, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, and other Azure networking components.
Configure and support network services such as DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and load balancers.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance or connectivity issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
Assist with cloud migration projects and integration of network systems with Azure.
Implement network security best practices in Azure including NSGs, ASGs, and Azure Firewall.
Maintain detailed documentation and diagrams of network systems and procedures.
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to support production and staging environments.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of experience in network operations or infrastructure support.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure network services.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, IPSec, and DNS.
Proficiency with tools like Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and Log Analytics.
Experience with network automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell, or ARM templates).
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
