SUMMARY:
Dynamic international wealth management firm requires temporary cover for an exciting role for someone who wants to develop their career in the service industry working with corporate and personal clients from around the world.

POSITION INFO:

Approximately 10-month contract 

Provide high levels of professional support to the business in respect of inward queries and requests from clients and distribution partner / IFA’s.

As the initial point of contact for IFA’s and client’s this role is critical in managing expectations and delivering a client focused service to all parties.  It will be necessary to liaise with other areas of the business and be able to develop and manage internal relationship positively, which will be a key part of the role.

 

This role will be involved with on-boarding new clients and will best suit someone that can prioritise, multi-task and enjoys working towards deadlines.

 

There is a need to communicate well either over the phone or via email with both external and internal stakeholders as communications skills are paramount.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The post holder is required to be:

  • Delivering a service as per the service standards established for the department from time to time
  • To have the function undertake and deliver on the tasks which have been assigned to it in respect of both sales support and operational support
  • Ensuring that all staff including yourself are trained and have the required level of knowledge of systems, processes and products to fulfil their roles and collectively the role of the function
  • Timely recording (including ensuring posting of such fees is done) and take fees for services that are chargeable
  • Recording of errors, complaints and omissions in a timely manner
  • Ongoing review of processes in the function and or processes and interactions between the function and other functions in the business to identify areas that can be improved or raise issues that need addressing
  • To ensure that the function is always staffed and where any resource issue becomes apparent to address this with senior management
  • Complete a range of administrative duties i.e. monitoring mail boxes and responding appropriately and timely/maintaining spreadsheets/preparing documentation and distributing.
  • Support colleagues and business partners to ensure to meet firm’s Service Level Agreements.
  • On-board new clients, which involves client/ IFA contact, collection and understanding of CDD, preparing risk assessments, undertaking internet searches, processing fees and bank payments and the posting of financial data.
  • Respond to questions and queries confidently and in a timely manner by email/telephone.
  • Form strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and business partners.

  • Practical experience with Microsoft Office applications and an ability to adapt to bespoke systems.
  • A firm understanding of the need to work under pressure to meet and achieve deadlines.
  • The ability, both verbally and in writing, to display a confident and professional manner.
  • An understanding of the need to develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and external business partners, to ensure the firm’s Service Level Agreements are achieved.
  • Be energetic in your approach to performing a service to the Company
  • A proven high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exercise the utmost good faith towards the Company both in carrying out your duties and in all of your dealings with the Company and its clients and/or its suppliers
