New Business Development / Key Accounts Manager – Packaging Into The Meat And Dairy Food Processing Industry

SUMMARY:
A well-known and established meat and food packaging manufacturing company requires the above to manage and drive senior key account customers within the meat and dairy and related food manufacturing industry within the KZN area.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role: A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential. Previous experience having worked in a key accounts management or related role working within the meat and dairy and related food packaging industry is preferred for the role. Previous experience having negotiated and dealt with customers at all levels. Previous experience having called on food and or meat manufacturing and retail customers is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels. Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing and driving senior key account customers within the meat and dairy and related food manufacturing industry within the KZN area. Managing and maintaining all senior client portfolios and business projects within the KZN area. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the meat and food manufacturing as well as retail sectors regarding food packaging. Identifying client needs and recommending packaging products tailored to optimize their production and packaging requirements. Conducting regular account reviews, providing product demonstrations, providing technical support, and training to clients on products if needed. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
