About the Role Our client, a leading telecommunications and business technology provider, is seeking a high-energy New Business Sales Representative to drive market acquisition within the PABX and unified communications space. This role is designed for a strategic \"hunter\" who excels at identifying business communication gaps and translating them into tailored cloud-hosted or on-premise solutions for corporate clients. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and self-sourced lead generation. Conduct comprehensive client site surveys and communication audits to design bespoke VoIP, SIP Trunking, Hosted PBX, and Unified Communications solutions. Present high-impact proposals to C-suite executives and IT directors, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives. Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting and solution architecture to contract negotiation and final closing. Maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly gross profit (GP) and revenue targets. Collaborate with technical pre-sales and service delivery teams to ensure seamless solution implementation and handovers. Accurately maintain CRM data, ensuring all lead activities, pipeline metrics, and deal statuses are up to date. Requirements Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven B2B sales experience with a demonstrable track record in new business hunting within the PABX, Telecommunications, or Connectivity sectors. Deep technical knowledge of modern PBX systems (Cloud\/Hosted & On-Premise), VoIP protocols, SIP trunks, and basic IP networking. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure profitable deals and understand rental finance options. A valid Driver's License and a reliable personal vehicle are essential. Excellent negotiation and consultative presentation skills. Minimum Grade 12 \/ Matric; a relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, or ICT is highly advantageous.
