Our client, an up-and-coming car brand, is looking for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to join their new vehicle sales team.

This is a junior management role, perfect for someone skilled at selling new cars and eager to coach and learn the ropes and develop skills to grow into a management position.

Your role will be to actively contribute to sales while motivating and managing the team to achieve departmental targets.

Remuneration
R 13 500 – R 15 000, negotiable upon experience plus performance-based Incentive – Company vehicle & fuel - Benefits including Provident Fund and Medical Aid.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed new vehicle sales targets.
Actively sell vehicles while leading the team by example.
Set clear, measurable goals for the sales team aligned with dealership objectives.
Monitor and analyse departmental sales performance; adjust strategies where necessary.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maintain high performance and morale.
Provide ongoing training in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
Recruit, onboard, and retain top-performing sales staff.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally.
Ensure optimal stock levels based on customer demand and market trends.
Collaborate with marketing to drive promotions, trade-in campaigns, and finance deals.
Manage departmental budgets and resources to maximize profitability.
Generate and analyse sales reports to track progress and forecast performance.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new vehicle launches.
Ensure all sales processes comply with dealership, manufacturer, and legal requirements.
Oversee accurate completion of contracts, deal files, and finance documentation.

Requirements:

Matric
Minimum 5 years’ New Vehicle Sales within a franchised dealership.
Assistant sales management experience (advantageous)
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Sound financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and profitability.
Valid Driver’s License and clean Criminal Record.
PC literate (Dealer Management Systems, Excel, Word).
Stable work history with solid references.
