JOB SUMMARY:
New Vehicle Sales Manager - Pretoria

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is regarded as a key management role and will be suited to an experienced manager who has the ability to attract clients; provide excellent customer service; motivate staff; control costs and maintain high levels of sales on an ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Dealer Principal, the New Vehicle Sales Manager is fully responsible for the management of the New Vehicle Sales Department.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and reporting on individual and team sales performance
Ensuring customer satisfaction targets are being exceeded
Taking a hands-on approach in supporting new vehicle sales executives to meet their targets
Carrying out market and competitor analyses, setting target parameters (e. g. for pricing), and ensuring these are implemented
Engaging in active marketing and stock management
Identifying training and development needs and opportunities for your staff
Working closely with the new vehicle sales team to ensure the dealership meets its new vehicle sales target

Requirements & Skills needed:

Prior leadership experience in the automotive sector is essential
At least 5 years of experience in a management position
Talented communicator and motivator with natural authority, a confident manner, and a highly performance-oriented approach
Proven track record of leading a team to exceed used car sales targets
Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff
Drives license
Grade 12 or higher qualification
