Job Description:
Summary:
We are looking for a newly graduated (or to graduate at the end of 2024) Chemical Engineer to be involved in a Process Design position. He / she will assist in creating high-quality and cost-effective process solutions through design, documentation, process modelling, site inspections and testing, research and development, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of mass and energy balances, equipment data sheets, BFDs, PFD, and P&IDs, as well as process design documentation, including design reports and various lists like equipment-, utilities-, waste-, valve lists, etc.
Execute process modelling and design calculations.
Assist in preparing cost estimates and tenders and determining the scope of work.
Commissioning and testing of new installations.
Preparation of operational documentation and operating and maintenance manuals.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised institution.
Entry-level position.

Essential Competencies:

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Assertive
Analytical ability to understand complex issues and their consequences.
Must be able to work in a team environment and individually.
