Night Auditor

We are now accepting applications for a Night Auditor. The purpose of this job is to be responsible for the overnight operations, to verify the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenue as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services between 23h00 – 07h00.

Qualifications & experience:

• valid Code 8 driver’s license
• grade 12 or equivalent, preferably with accounting as a subject
• computer literacy, and Opera or Fidelio knowledge
• basic financial knowledge will be to your advantage
• experience in an accounting role will be to your advantage.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Identify and report on all missing and open dockets
• Investigate all negative postings and report on all discrepancies
• Perform a pit check on Paymasters and report on discrepancies
• Perform a credit card reconciliation and report on discrepancies
• Compile F&B Statistics Report and report on discrepancies
• Run night audit on Opera and Micros
• Attend to guest complaints when necessary
• Ensure repeat guests or VIP guests are appropriately acknowledged
• Training planned with HR and implemented to meet future company requirements and personal development plans.
