SUMMARY:
Luxury Wellness Retreat & Hotel close to Franschhoek is looking for a Night Duty Manager.

We are looking for a passionate person with positive energy, significant practical experience & knowledge within the hospitality industry.

You would be part of a small team that would be providing service and hospitality at the highest and most personalized level.

You would be responsible for the guests’ experience from arrival to departure, assisting the guests during the stay, including doing set ups of various activities as well as assisting with any guest requests.

As a Night Duty Manager you work hand in hand with the support departments to ensure the guest experiences is of the highest standard.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Ensure that policies, processes, and standards reflect guest safety, security, and preferences.
Serves as a warm, attentive presence throughout the guest journey (especially during night hours)
Supports guest arrivals, departures, and any late-night needs with calm clarity and care
Coordinates seamlessly with other teams to ensure the guest experience remains smooth, thoughtful, and responsive
Aware of each guest’s practical needs, adapting with empathy and discretion
Comfortable balancing solo responsibility during night shifts, including subtle oversight of wellbeing and the overall calm

Requirements:

Grade 12
A formal hospitality qualification
At least 2+ years of experience in luxury operation as a Duty Manager with the experience to lead in a small operational team
Fully computer literate
Ability to monitor & ensure compliance
Demonstrates high levels of resilience in demanding environments with a positive outlook in challenging situations
You should be passionate about hospitality and regenerative practices, knowledge and love of all thing’s wellness will be an advantage.
