🌐 Seeking a Web Developer (Python/Node.js) – Hybrid role (Johannesburg).

POSITION INFO:
We’re looking for a Web Developer with strong Python (Django) and Node.js skills to join our team. You’ll build new web-based applications, enhance existing systems, and provide bug fixes and production support. You don’t need to know the entire stack upfront, but you must be a fast learner, curious, and technically strong enough to get involved across the environment.

• Work with a modern web stack across Python, Node.js, SQL, Azure, and DevOps

• No formal education required
• Must demonstrate self-study abilities, ongoing skills development, or personal projects that showcase initiative

• 3+ years client-side web development (JavaScript, CSS, and HTML)
• 3+ years server-side web development (Python/Django, and Node.js)
• 2+ years SQL development
• Ability to research, Google, and self-solve problems effectively
• Strong communication skills – Ability to clarify uncertainties and collaborate with the team
• Self-starter mindset – Able to manage own tasks and document processes independently

• Jenkins CI/CD
• PowerShell scripting

• Azure knowledge (including Azure DevOps)

• Development:
  • Build and enhance web-based applications
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable code on time
  • Work from high-level requirements, applying critical thinking to fill in details

• Operations & Support:
  • Act on alerts via SMS/Teams – Fix issues or escalate appropriately
  • Support production systems and provide bug fixes
