As a Non-Life Actuarial Manager, you will lead a team of talented Analysts and consultants, guiding them through diverse client projects spanning short-term insurance, reinsurance, and financial services.

You’ll be involved in everything from advanced pricing model development and reserving analysis to regulatory reporting and strategic advisory. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver actuarial projects in pricing, reserving, capital modelling, and risk management.
• Manage and mentor Junior Actuarial Analysts, providing technical guidance and professional development.
• Oversee client deliverables and maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to drive business insights.

• Education:
  • Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (FASSA or equivalent).
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in non-life actuarial work.
  • Must have consulting experience (already working within or familiar with consulting projects).
  • Strong background in pricing, reserving, or capital modelling.
  • Management or team leadership experience essential.
• Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
  • Experience with tools such as Emblem, Radar, or ResQ is a plus.
  • IFRS 17 exposure advantageous, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
