Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pricing, reserving, and capital modelling for non-life insurance clients
- Develop and maintain actuarial models and data tools using Excel, SQL, R, or Python
- Support regulatory reporting (SAM and IFRS 17) and risk management assignments
- Prepare reports, insights, and presentations for senior actuaries and stakeholders
Job Experience and Skills Required:- BSc / BCom Actuarial Science or related degree (minimum requirement)
- Minimum of 7 actuarial exams (ASSA / IFoA)
- 3+ years’ experience in short-term / non-life insurance or actuarial consulting
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and confident communication skills
- South African citizenship or valid right to work in South Africa
