JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Nursery Operations Manager is responsible for agricultural operations and managing nursery staff in Tzaneen, Limpopo.

Key activities:

Managing agricultural operations
People Management: goal setting and performance management
Customer Relationship Management
Managing the order book
Budgets preparation (including P&L)
Implementing Quality protocols
Driving continuous improvement
Implementing information systems/ ERP systems

Education and Experience:

Degree/ Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture or similar
3 - 5 years’ experience in Agriculture Operations Management
Thorough knowledge of Business Management
Knowledge of nursery or plant production processes
Experience managing operations staff
Computer skills (MS Word/ MS Excel/ Microsoft Dynamics 365)

This role will suit a passionate agriculture professional who has mastery over agricultural processes and operations. This role is based in Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa.
