Nursery Operations Manager

The Nursery Operations Manager is responsible for agricultural operations and managing nursery staff in Tzaneen, Limpopo.

Key activities:

• Managing agricultural operations
• People Management: goal setting and performance management
• Customer Relationship Management
• Managing the order book
• Budgets preparation (including P&L)
• Implementing Quality protocols
• Driving continuous improvement
• Implementing information systems/ ERP systems

Education and Experience:

• Degree/ Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture or similar
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in Agriculture Operations Management
• Thorough knowledge of Business Management
• Knowledge of nursery or plant production processes
• Experience managing operations staff
• Computer skills (MS Word/ MS Excel/ Microsoft Dynamics 365)
