We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Manager to lead the nursing department at a well-established private hospital in KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall nursing management of the facility. This includes coordinating all activities related to the provision, promotion, and assurance of quality patient care. The role requires strong leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary team and drive a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all nursing functions to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

• Collaborate with medical and operational teams to align care strategies.

• Oversee staffing, training, mentorship, and performance management within the nursing department.

• Promote a culture of patient safety, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance.

• Ensure effective stakeholder relationship management both internally and externally.

Requirements:

• Diploma in General Nursing (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor of Nursing (NQF Level 7/8).

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Health Service Management is essential.

• A relevant business or healthcare management qualification will be advantageous.

• Minimum of 3 years’ management experience, preferably in the private healthcare sector.

• Deputy Nursing Manager experience will be beneficial.

• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams, lead change, and drive operational efficiency.

• Strong training, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
