 JOB PURPOSE

 In view of the pending retirement of the current incumbent, we need a highly experienced, energetic and enthusiastic Nursing Services Manager to take responsibility for the overall standard of nursing services provided by the company. Reporting to the CEO, the Nursing Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that the residents are receiving holistic care in respect of their physical, psychological and spiritual well-being.

 Qualifications:

• Qualified Professional Nurse with current Registration with SANC.

• Preferably with geriatric nursing experience.

• Experience in Nursing Management.

• Computer literate.

 Requirements:

• Develop and Implement nursing policies, protocols and procedures.

• Monitor nursing standards at all MHA care centres and villages

• Conduct nursing audits at all care centres

• Chair discipline and grievance hearings when required

• Monitor group compliance to relevant legislation

• Promote and assist with in-service training

• Mentor and assist nursing managers as required.

The applicants must be a registered Professional Nurse with management experience, and have a drivers licence and own vehicle.
