SUMMARY:
Clinical management opportunity within a private hospital situated in Johannesburg, East Rand. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years clinical management experience within the private sector.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the coordination of all nursing activities and patient services via the multi-disciplinary team.

Assurance of high quality patient care through the multi-disciplinary team, aligned with the strategy and goals of the organization
Ensure management of departmental governance and risk management
Effective management of the nursing budget within the hospital
Evaluate the patient’s experience and stakeholder input
People management, training and development of staff to ensure a qualified and competent nursing team

Education Requirements & Knowledge:
Diploma in Nursing (General, Psychiatric and Community) and Midwifery OR
BCur Nursing Degree
SANC registered
Post-basic qualification in Nursing Management required
Intermediate level of computer literacy
Proficient in stakeholder relationship management
Sound financial knowledge and ability to interpret financial data
Basic understanding of Labour legislation
Full understanding of the Nursing Act and SANC regulations
