• Ability to facilitate learning at undergraduate and postgraduate level in communication networks.
• Ability to guide learners through enterprise network design projects.
• Knowledge in core routing, switching, and troubleshooting concepts.
• An understanding of network virtualisation concepts.
• Knowledge in the fields of cybersecurity and network security would be advantageous.
• Ability to actively engage in and supervise post graduate research.
• Ability to synthesize information to design learning experiences.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences through various media.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant working experience. Relevant experience in which competency has been gained in line with the relevant post.

Experience in lecturing would be advantageous.

Experience as a manger in a CISCO or other network academy will be advantageous
