Job Duties:
- Facilitate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training sessions (First Aid, Basic Firefighting, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, etc.)
- Assess and evaluate OHS competencies of individuals
- Develop and update OHS training materials and resources
- Provide guidance and support to individuals in improving OHS practises
- Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant certification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Accredited as a Facilitator / Assessor
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (will be advantageous)
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating training sessions
- Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and best practises
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in OHS training and assessment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work environment may include training facilities, construction sites, and educational institutions. Some travel may be required within the specified location.
