OPS Engineer

SUMMARY:
To ensure safety, health of employees (legally responsible as a 2.13.1) & ensure efficient equipment operation and availability.

POSITION INFO:

B Eng./Bsc Engineering/ Diploma/Degree - NQF 6
Government Certificate of Competency (Mines & Works)
2 - 4 years operational work experience (EXT) preferably hard rock mining/Plant environment
Mechanical and electrical disciplines associated with a government certificate of competency.
2 years recognised junior engineering program training.
2 - 4 yrs operational experience with mining/plant experience
Electrical or Mechanical engineering theory.
Legal knowledge related to the mining industry.
Operational knowledge related to the mining industry.
Computer literacy (MS Office, MS Projects, SAP R/3)
Data analysis skills.
Presentation skills.
Preventative maintenance skills.
