OT Security Engagement Specialist (ref2021_5)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining sector is looking for a Security Engagement Specialist to ensure cybersecurity information and workstreams flow ensuring that there is a minimum lag in responses/actions as well as identifying and driving business requirements to improve the cyber security function through site and group level engagement.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Matric & Bachelor in IT or PM qualification

• Experience in mining operations, project management, cybersecurity, incident response, business engagement and relationship building.

• Reporting production and advanced Excel
• Data correlation and aggregation
• IEC 62443/ISA95
• Basic vulnerability management
• Basic risk and governance

Responsibilities:

Vulnerability Management

• Support the Global IM Vulnerability Management (VM) function by providing routes into site and facilitating regular meetings between VM and site.
• Identify site VM scanning needs and request and coordinate scanning activities to deliver on site requirements.
• Deliver regular scanning reports to site and coordinate remedial actions required, including planning patching periods and feed this into the VM team.
• Input exceptions and delays to the exceptions register and risk register respectively.

Governance and Compliance

• Ensure Global IM risk register is updated with all IM risks to each site, identifying risk owners, formulating actions to identified risks.
• Track any risk remediation/reduction activity, including providing project management support to sites as required.
• Brief Global IM risk function of site-specific risks and actions on a regular basis, including tracking of risk remediation/reduction progress.
• Support Global IM generation/updating of standard operating procedures and policies by providing specific OT requirements into these publications.

Forensic/eDiscovery Investigations

• Plan the collection and exploitation of evidence sources in a forensically and legally sound manner and execute the plan accordingly.
• Engage with audit and internal teams globally to support internal investigations and deliver accurate and timely reports.
• Engage with law enforcement agencies as required to gather support during complex investigations.
• Conduct forensic investigations in isolation or alongside other parties such as internal audit or local law enforcement.
• Support business units in internal investigations, providing evidence to human resources and internal audit functions.
