SUMMARY:

Office Accountant
Location: Bloemfontein

• Finance-related degree.
• 4–5 years’ experience in a full accounting function.
• Industry experience in Construction or Engineering Consulting ONLY.
• Exceptional Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Finance degree. 4-5 years in full accounting function. Basic HR function. Engineering or construction industry experience only will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Full accounting function up to Trial Balance. Perform reconciliations and financial checks. Assist with external audits. Manage banking functions. Manage the full HR administration process. Source and onboard new employees. Manage disciplinary processes, training, resignations and retirements. Coordinate performance appraisals. Provide HR support to employees and management. Process monthly payroll and payroll reconciliations. Escalate HR queries to the Group HR Officer. Manage BBBEE processes and scorecard requirements. Handle general office administration, including petty cash and travel arrangements. Provide financial and company information required for tenders. Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager.
