JOB SUMMARY:
A successful short term insurance company in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ an energetic and enthusiastic office administrator to join their team. Experience and / or knowledge in the Insurance industry will be needed. You will be responsible to handle all administrative queries on the short-term insurance portfolio and assist with other tasks as per management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • RE qualification OR NQF Level 4 Insurance qualification required.
  • Matric
  • Must be fully bilingual.
  • Must have insurance knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Amendments on existing policies (additions and deletions)
  • Quotations for new business.
  • Client queries.
  • Amendments of values (vehicles, motorcycles to retail values as well as cell phones to replacement values)
  • Issuing of new policies.
  • Following up on invoices for annual policies.
  • Following up on instructions sent to insurers to amend policies and to ensure that the amendments are carried out correctly.
  • Checking of policies schedules and updated the client policy summary and sending these to the insured.
