On-Call Booking Coordinator Coordinate high-volume shift bookings and ensure shift coverage while working remotely across afternoon and evening hours. Location: Remote (South Africa) | Working Arrangement: 100% Remote | Working Hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM South Africa Time (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM UK Time) | Salary: R20,000 - R22,000 per month ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client manages high-volume shift bookings, ensuring efficient communication and shift coverage through phone calls, emails, and messaging channels. The team operates within a fast-paced environment where performance is measured against daily booking and communication metrics. This role supports the organisation''s Wednesday-to-Sunday operations, ensuring the right people are booked into the right shifts while maintaining high standards of service and accountability. THE ROLE: ON-CALL BOOKING COORDINATOR The On-Call Booking Coordinator is responsible for managing shift bookings and communications during key afternoon and evening hours. Working independently in a fully remote environment, you will take ownership of Wednesday-to-Sunday operations, ensuring shifts are filled efficiently while maintaining performance against daily scorecard metrics. The role requires someone who is highly organised, self-motivated, and able to remain fully contactable throughout the required working hours while contributing effectively within a fast-paced team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Actively manage daily phone calls, emails, and messaging channels to drive and secure shift bookings. Maintain performance against daily scorecard metrics, including calls, messages, and booked shifts, while focusing on quality outcomes and right-fit placements. Work independently and remain fully contactable throughout the specified working hours. Take direct accountability for daily performance. Work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. ABOUT YOU Previous experience in a booking or coordination team. Ability and willingness to work 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM UK time \/ 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM South Africa time, Wednesday through Sunday, including mandatory weekends. Clean disciplinary record with no disciplinary history or active investigations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High proficiency in self-management and problem-solving. Resilient. Proactive. Receptive to direct feedback. Eager to learn. Comfortable working an evening and weekend schedule. BENEFITS Fully remote \/ work-from-home position.
