JOB SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a user-experience (UX) manager who understands our business requirements and any technical limitations, who will also conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of those strategies by inspecting standardised metrics.
The success of our online businesses also requires conceiving and conducting user research, website audits, trend spotting and behaviour analysis, and translating it all into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
The UX Manager will also be expected to design and develop the online sales funnel of our products, and, to ensure a great user experience, repeat it in accordance with user-testing.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Objectives
  • Taking a user-centred design and user experience approach to all online activities of the business.
  • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and innovative developments to encourage sales in our online store.
  • Translating concepts and product strategies into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Facilitating the product’s vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for online products.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying, and filling product gaps and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Supporting the front-end development team to design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Directing the activities of software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies.
  • Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures.
  • Creating promotional offers and ensuring they are uploaded precisely.
  • Reviewing copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy.
  • Analysing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Examining sales-related metrics to improve the overall customer journey and offering.
  • Reporting on the utility of existing and innovative strategies.
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
  • A degree in marketing management, business, information systems, or similar.
  • The ability to work with various teams to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet our business needs and vision.
  • A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, performance analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
  • A demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies.
  • A sound knowledge of the prevailing procedures and techniques within the ecommerce/online environment.
