We are recruiting a Onsite Engineer to join our team on a permanent contract in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Job Purpose:

Escalations and feedback daily to Onsite Team leader. Liaise with remote support, field services and back-office team to assist with resolution of issues.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications Required:

Grade 12
ITIL Foundation

Preferred Qualifications:

COMPTIA A+, NETWORK +
MCSE, Microsoft 365 Administration
HP/Dell Hardware qualifications.
Apple Certification â?? Mac and IOS.

Experience Required:

Supporting enterprise IT environments from a user workspace/desktop perspective.
Remote and telephony support
Soft Skills

Key Accountabilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

Escalations and feedback daily to Onsite Team leader.
Liaise with remote support, field services and back-office team to assist with resolution of issues.
Liaise with 3rd party vendors as required.
Direct, telephonic, and remote support of user desktop environment.
Install, troubleshoot, and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.Â
1st line support for Android and Apple tablets/phones.
Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware/software faults.
Support users with Teams, Zoom and other collaboration technologies.Â
Liaise with dispatch and vendors around delivery of equipment to and from Broll branches.
Work as part of a team to innovate and improve services.

Projects that require onsite team to assist/implement.

Work Environment:

Office environment.Â

Physical Demands:

Moving of equipment from time to time.Â
Working on laptop/desktop hardware.

Travel:

Travel will not be required.
