Operation Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry has an opportunity available for an Operation Engineer in the Rustenburg, North West area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Government Certificate Compentency (Electrical/Mechanical)  Mines and Works
• Operational and maintenance experience in the following areas is essential:
  
  • Shafts and underground systems
  • Winding plant
  • Conveyors and conveyor systems
• Further experience in the following will be beneficial:
• Compressors
• Refrigeration and ventilation plants
• Other mining-related equipment

KPAs:

• Monitor and review safety trends to establish methodologies 
• Establish budgets to maintain and improve engineering services and control allocated budget within the business plan
• Maintain and review maintenance procedures to ensure maximum availability of engineering systems
• Monitor, review and implement environmental systems to establish methodologies to maintain and improve environmental compliance with ISO 14001
