SUMMARY:
My client who is in the retail sector is currently looking for a seasoned Operational Financial Manager to lead their finance team at their Bloemfontein store.
POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bcom
- 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have store operation experience
- Excel (advanced)
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Expense cost center and accounts accuracy and reporting
- Checking and authorising of monthly reconciliations
- Checking and authorising of posted consolidated difference reports
- Daily checking of cash credits as per Back Office report
- Checking of daily till credits report and audit report as per Back Office report
- Checking and filing of POS price variance reports as per Back Office report
- Maintain HO cheque clearance system user limits
- Monthly audit of active users on SAP and Back office and deleting of inactive users
- Petty cash authorization within limits of authority
- Capital expenditure control
- Debtors’ applications authorising and control
- Weekly checking of Front-End registers and controls
- Weekly checking of Receiving registers and controls as per Receiving control pack
- Check and monitor monthly departmental audit checklists as per Process Controllers audit schedule
- Adherence to Health & Safety ACT and company requirement
- Effective member of store exec team
