Operational Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with at least two years’ post articles experience and ‘track-record’ of outstanding academic achievement for the Operational Financial Manager within their Johannesburg North based Finance team. POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) designation and/or eligibility to register recently obtained  
• South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles completed at a ‘Big 4 Firm’ is highly advantageous
• Minimum 2 years’ previous working experience involving Accounting, Debtors, Creditors, and Cash Management roles and responsibility

Job description & Skills:

• Providing oversight and management to ensure the fulfilment of Operational Accounting functions as well as the performance of branch systems, processes, and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant legislative and/or regulatory requirements
• Constructing viable and/or feasible business development strategies and ensuring the successful implementation of these business development strategies
• Managing the administrative systems and/or processes of the entire department as well as providing general auxiliary support functions  
• Overseeing and managing the performance of business operations
• Maintaining high service levels within the Finance department
