An exclusive Private Game reserve is looking for an OPERATIONAL MANAGER to join their team

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate for the Operational Manager role should be passionate about wildlife conservation and dedicated to community engagement and sustainability projects. They should possess strong leadership skills to oversee various departments, while being adept at administrative tasks such as budget management, payroll compliance, and staff coordination. A background in conservation or reserve management would be advantageous, paired with exceptional communication and organizational abilities to align the company’s resources and vision effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

Oversee conservation and reserve management.
Plan and implement sustainability and community projects.
Manage the elephant department and orphanage.
Handle pest control and fleet management.
Coordinate photography and film crew activities.
Provide information for grant applications and donor relations.
Host tours for donors and build relationships through presentations.
Capture photo and video content for fundraising purposes.
Ensure health and safety for staff and guests.
Collaborate with peers for efficient resource use.
Ensure compliance with financial, insurance, and payroll regulations.
Compile and manage budgets.
Oversee staff and handle HR-related tasks.

This is a live-in position.

Package Includes:

Accommodation provided on the reserve.
Company vehicle available for use while on duty.
Meals included during working hours.
Cost to company salary of R25 000.00
