SUMMARY:
Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of solar PV plants to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on solar PV systems. Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, performance data, and spare parts inventory. Support plant upgrades, modifications, and performance improvement initiatives. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Skills & Attributes: Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and switchgear. Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions. Familiarity with electrical safety standards and OHS requirements. Good communication and teamwork skills. Results-driven with attention to detail. Qualifications & Experience: National Diploma \/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in solar PV operations and maintenance. Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.
