My client is looking for a tech-savvy, hands-on Operations & Systems Coordinator to streamline business operations, optimise e-commerce platforms, and ensure seamless stock management. This is a doing role - not a managerial one - so you’ll be directly involved in operations, warehousing, and logistics without managing staff.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys working with AI tools, automation, and online marketplaces like Takealot and Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
Operations, Systems & AI Optimization
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Use AI tools and automation software to optimize processes.
- Maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and key business systems.
- Identify and implement improvements for smoother workflows.
E-Commerce & Online Sales Support
- Manage product listings, stock, and pricing on Takealot, Amazon, and similar platforms.
- Optimize product descriptions and images to enhance brand presence.
- Monitor e-commerce performance and leverage customer feedback.
- Process orders, coordinate fulfillment and handle customer inquiries.
Stock Management & Logistics
- Oversee inventory tracking and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Work alongside warehouse staff to coordinate dispatch and packaging.
- Maintain stock records and ensure efficient warehousing operations.
- Assist with hands-on tasks when needed - we believe in teamwork.
Admin & Accounting Support
- Process invoices, supplier payments, and reconciliations using accounting software.
- Track and manage operational expenses to optimize cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in operations, e-commerce, administration, or stock management.
- Tech-Savvy:
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, automation).
- Comfortable using Takealot, Amazon, and other online marketplaces.
- Experience with AI tools, automation software, and stock management systems.
- Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
