SUMMARY:
Large Agrochemical Solution Provider based in Jhb East, has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Accountant (EE). The purpose of the role is to calculate all Sales Crop Advsors' commissions and prepare payments thereof; build ad maintain relationships with the Crop Advisors and Depots and communicate regularly with the Crop Advisors. Ability to speak Afrikaans fluently is not negotiable.

POSITION INFO:
The successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar qualification, coupled with 3-5 years commercial experience preferably within the Agricultural sector. Duties include: preparation of Crop Advisors commission journals; extract commission reports to identify significant variances for management review and approval; reconcile balance sheet accounts; prepare journals from prior month''s B/S review and reconciliation; calculate Crop Advisor rebates and incentives; communicate monthly commission payment related deadlines to stakeholders; prepare commission payments to Crop Advisors; create commission statements and supporting schedules; communicate and submit to Group Human Capital Department (ie. employees tax and take-on); perform annual tax status reviews for all Crop Advisors; manage Crop Advisor and depot contact list and regularly review and update procedures for the take-on and termination of Crop Advisors. Solid MSOffice experience as well as ERP systems experience desired.
