Our client, a well-established Transport and Logistics Company, is seeking an Operations Assistant to join their team,

Location: Cape Town

Job type: Permanent On-site

Duties and Responsibilities

• Client bookings
• Truck bookings - delivering note issuing, control and invoicing
• Monitor vehicle tracking and producing fuel and revenue reports
• Tyre Management
• Client & Company queries
• Industrial relations
• Managing the daily crew board, casuals and staff overtime
• Vehicle data capturing
• Estimating and calculating of office moves
• Claims handling
• Handling of petty cash

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum qualification Grade 12 with mathematics
• A National Transport Diploma or similar qualification would be an advantage
• Minimum 2-years in Logistics, Transport or Operations experience
• Computer literacy on Google web-based applications, Excel & Word
• Industrial Relations experience
• Assess and streamline processes
• Drivers Licence – Code B
