Our client, a well-established Transport and Logistics Company, is seeking an Operations Assistant to join their team,

Location: Cape Town

Job type: Permanent On-site

Duties and Responsibilities

Client bookings
Truck bookings - delivering note issuing, control and invoicing
Monitor vehicle tracking and producing fuel and revenue reports
Tyre Management
Client & Company queries
Industrial relations
Managing the daily crew board, casuals and staff overtime
Vehicle data capturing
Estimating and calculating of office moves
Claims handling
Handling of petty cash

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualification Grade 12 with mathematics
A National Transport Diploma or similar qualification would be an advantage
Minimum 2-years in Logistics, Transport or Operations experience
Computer literacy on Google web-based applications, Excel & Word
Industrial Relations experience
Assess and streamline processes
Drivers Licence – Code B

Skills

Strong communicator
Excellent analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail
Efficient
Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes
