    The Role:

    Are you a results driven, ambitious and innovative Operations/ Localisation Systems Operations Consultant?

    Our client is searching for your expertise.

    Essential function:

    • Incident Management support (e.g. feedback to the business of the state of 
      the incidents, escalation by 2nd support if incidents are not solved timely, regularly monitoring of incident tickets).
    • Problem Management (e.g. creating problem tickets, monitoring problem 
      tickets, support Problem Investigation process).
    • Change Management (e.g. creating change tickets, executing/management 
      changes, schedule changes according to local CAB, monitoring change tickets).
    • Parametrisation of â??off the shelf productâ?? (e.g. configuration of interfaces and new devices).
    • System monitoring (e.g. CPU consumption, amount of incident tickets, etc.)
    • Contact person for local business, Business Relationship Management and 
      external provider.
    • Support and implement worldwide rollout projects (transfer old system to new one).
    • Provider management (e.g. monitoring of service level, requirements management).
    Skills and Experience:

    Essential Qualification:

    • Degree in IT or relevant experience
    Key Accountabilities:

    Functional Skills:

    • Excellent technical understanding of IT systems (mandatory).
    • Database Oracle/Postgres knowledge (advantageous).
    • Linux administration experience (mandatory).
    • Minimum 2-3 yearsâ?? experience in production / manufacturing system operations environment (advantageous).
    • German language skills (Level 2) 
    • ITIL process knowledge (mandatory).
    • Unix Shell scripting experience (advantageous).
    • Agile experience.
    Personality and Attributes:

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful 
      implementation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate 
      effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical 
      colleagues / users.
    • Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be 
      foreign customers and language barriers might exist.
    • Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependant as well as independently and 
      submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality. SELF STARTER.
    • Above board work ethics â?? this is of utmost importance.
    • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
    • Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users 
      when required.
    • Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international)
