SUMMARY:
We are looking to employ an Operations Director for an Adult Training Company based in Gauteng

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

B.Com or equivalent
Minimum of 7-10 years experience in learnership training.
Management experience of at least 10 years.
Extensive travelling to various countries.
French language would be an advantage.
Negotiation and liaison skill.
Project Management, communication and leadership skills.
Attention to details is essential.
Sales and marketing skills would be a distinct advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures in line with the company vision and goals by ensuring profitability of business units in a cost effective and sustainable manner.
Researching and identifying prospective partners in West Africa.
SLA negotiating and drafting.
Compilation of board pack and evaluation performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics for reporting of key results to the Managing Director.
Travelling to various African countries.
Report on overall financial performance relevant to the Directors and Aggressively manage expenses to ensure the company achieves client targets relative to growth and profitability.
Engage in key target and customer activities and manage relationship with partners/Vendors.
Oversee the Management of existing business and participate in expansion activities i.e. tender submissions, presentations and client visits.
Directly oversee operations, learnership departments and finance, and partner with sales and managing director’s of sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near and long term .Maintain cost-to-business ratio and manage the sales, cost of sales, units of product and services sold.
Ensure adherence to company and governmental legislation as well as local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary and any other functions and mandates by the board.
