POSITION INFO:
We are looking to fill the position of Operations Executive at a Insurance Company, based in Johannesburg

The role of the Operations Executive is to lead the daily operations of the organization, oversee the management of the outsourced Call Centre and manage relationships with technology providers.

Responsibilities

• As a member of the executive management team, the Operations Executive is jointly responsible for the attainment of the organization’s strategic objectives with specific accountability for operational performance.
• Management and accountability for the performance of the outsourced Call Centre operations.
• Ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow and ensure operating efficiency.
• Manage and drive the day-to-day operations of the organization, across a range of business disciplines, providing leadership and support, ensuring an awareness and commitment to the organization’s vision and strategy.
• Manage relationships with technology providers, customer queries, underwriting and claims queries, and other ad hoc operational matters that will arise from time to time.
• Ensure that operations are within the agreed budget and service levels.

• CA (SA), Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or an equivalent Bachelor of Commerce degree.
• 8+ years of senior managerial experience in Insurance operations, managing technology service providers, and implementing large complex multi-stakeholder programmes.
