Opportunity available!! Our leading client in the FMCG/Dairy industry has an opportunity available for an Operations Manager within their Concentrated Products division in Humansdorp to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• The candidate will have the overall accountability for the company’s concentrated productions department ensuring operations effectiveness of the various Manufacturing Units
• This will be achieved by successfully driving compliance of quality systems, effective asset management to ensure plant availability, achievement of the manufacturing targets to meet sales forecast
• Leading and supporting the employees within the department
• Ensuring to control expenditure and operational practices to meet budgets and the role out of capital projects to meet future operational company requirements

• A minimum of 5 years senior management experience with total accountability of a manufacturing unit ideally FMCG/ Dairy
• A relevant tertiary qualification ideally supported with a post graduate management qualification.
• The successful candidates who have relevant dairy manufacturing experience - would be an added advantage 
• Strong proactive leadership capabilities with the ability to nurture human capital development
• Results driven with a high level of compliance to organisation standards and achievement of corporate objectives
• Ability to translate top management strategic objectives into viable capital expenditure projects in order to meet organisational goals.
